With milk

Caffè Latte

The mildest of the milk coffees - a lot of milk, a thin foam.

Ratio
1:3 - 1:5
Milk
180-240 ml
Milk temp
55-65 °C

A starting point - adjust to your beans.

With this much milk the shot has to carry a long way. If it tastes like warm milk, go up to a double before you change anything else.

How to go about it

  1. Pull a single or double shot into a tall cup.

  2. Steam the milk smooth with only a thin layer of foam on top.

  3. Pour steadily through the middle so the coffee and milk fold together.
