With milk
Caffè Latte
The mildest of the milk coffees - a lot of milk, a thin foam.
- Ratio
- 1:3 - 1:5
- Milk
- 180-240 ml
- Milk temp
- 55-65 °C
A starting point - adjust to your beans.
With this much milk the shot has to carry a long way. If it tastes like warm milk, go up to a double before you change anything else.
How to go about it
Pull a single or double shot into a tall cup.
Steam the milk smooth with only a thin layer of foam on top.
Pour steadily through the middle so the coffee and milk fold together.
